Where they go

The classic Latvian coast run. Jurmala first for the pine-and-sand smell, then a hundred kilometres of empty, arrow-straight tarmac to Cape Kolka, where the Gulf of Riga meets the open Baltic and the water visibly fights itself. Ventspils is the turn south — port cranes, a clean promenade, a castle. Finish at Kuldiga's Venta Rapid, the widest waterfall in Europe, and take the P108 home in the dark.
